Lake Camp, since its founding in 1958, has followed a traditional camp program.
Each camper is scheduled for swim instruction in the morning, free swim
in the afternoon and lunch mid-day. Our program director uses the remaining
six periods to offer a variety of our numerous sports, arts, games, and
specialty activities. Hobby Hour and Electives allow campers to personalize
their daily schedule.
Freshman Camp, designed for our pre-school through kindergarten age campers,
is an intimate, nurturing, self-contained part of our campus. Junior Camp,
grades 1st through 3rd, continues the JLC tradition. Senior Camp, grades
4th through 8th, offers our Classic program along with two specialty groups,
Campus of the Arts and Sports Only. No matter what the age or program choice,
Jeff Lake is steeped in tradition. Wigwam, Blue-White, Over Land Over Sea,
Heads Up, and campfire cookouts are just of few of the traditions your camper
will become familiar with. Our programming is always being updated as new
activities become available but our tradition remains constant.
